"Nothing Serious" at Habit Coffee Nov-Dec 2023

I ended my first year of being an artist on a strong note with a 6 week show at Habit Coffee on Pandora Street, downtown "Victoria". This opportunity allowed for my work to be visible to hundreds of people getting their morning coffee, catching up with friends, and stopping in for a snack. I showed large format framed prints of the work I produced during my residency in Sweetpea Gallery's Greenhouse. Next to the prints, I decided to display the physical toys that I glued, spray painted, and photographed. My favourite one, and the most challenging to hang, was the spilling bucket photographed in the print "When you were little were you allowed to believe in dinosaurs?".

It was a really cool experience to have my work featured in one of my favourite coffee shops in town. If you haven't been to Habit Coffee yet, make sure to stop by for a visit. They are always featuring different local artists, supporting the community, and the staff is incredible <3
